DP 4.5 and Stormdrum

Post by dforden »

G4 867 dual
DP 4.5
OSX 10.3.7
Pro Tools Mix cubed/DAE

I installed stormdrum and am trying to use it in a DP session. Periodically, its output goes away and I have to restart DP. Not sure what I do to make that happen. I assume I'm using it as an RTAS plug-in, though I'm not sure how to determine that. Anyone having similar issues?

Also, way back, performer allowed you to play in MIDI notes and controller data directly into the event list view: Highlight a note or a pitch-bend value, move your MIDI controller and the value would appear. Doesn't do that anymore. Is it possible to enable that?

Thanks for any info ...

Hmmm... I'm running Stormdrum as an AU and have had no such problems. Is it reasonably easy for you to reinstall it as an AU? That would be my recommendation.

Likewise - been using that and many other Native Instruments that way for a while, and I've never had a problem. AU seems the way to go.
