memory upgrades

Post by dalevin »

I have a brand-new iMac 2.4 Ghz (20-inch), Intel Core 2 Duo.

Which one of these memory upgrades would be better? Or are they essentially the same?

They should have the same specs and appear to. OWC memory has never failed me. (I'm soaking in it now!) Certainly saves you a few bucks and they are great in terms of service.

Check out Data Memory Systems as well:

I've had great luck with them. Been buying from them for years.

Aside from being cheaper to start with, OWC offers rebates on any chips that you replace. You may get more money for them if you sell them yourself, but it might be worth it to save yourself the hassle.

+1 for Data Memory Systems.

I've gotten the wrong chips (i.e. not what I ordered) from OWC and had a hell of time getting them to take it back & send me what I ordered.

I always use Data Memory Systems.
