How to Word-Clock correctly?

Hi!

I have an 896HD and a Traveler and want to sync them via Word Clock though they are already daisy-chained, but I hope WC would be more stable.
I have connected the 896HD's WC-Out with the Traveler's WC-In, that should be right, shouldn't it?
But what do I set in the driver? I can choose "896HD: WC In" or "Traveler: WC In", but nothing else about WC. ???
And how can I tell the Traveler to sync from WC and not from Firewire?
