Rebate on Blue Microphones until Dec. 31

Happened across this quite by accident while trying to find a price on a Blue "Bluebird" because there's one on Craigslist locally right now.

I got the Woodpecker for 799.00 from a local GC, and it looks like I might be getting 100.00 back, as well! (probably can't find the receipt, but I'm sure GC will print out another...I do have the box, though, with the UPC. etc

That sounds like a great price on the Woodpecker even without the rebate. What do you think of it thus far? What kind of stuff have you used it for, and do you have any frame of reference to compare it to something like a Royer?

jmoore, I'm liking it...I kinda splurged by buying the Woodpecker and a PreSonus ADL 600 mic pre.

So far, male and female vocals, jazz trombone and an acoustic guitar.

Very pleased...did not have a chance to compare with the Royer 121(?) which was another potential choice.
