Digital Performer 5.13 and East West Orchestra on Leopard
Hello. I need a decent sample library for some work I've got coming up and was wondering if anybody has had any success or problems with the East West platinum orchestra on Leopard (which I had to install because of some stupid glitches under Tiger) using Digital Performer as the host application?
I think that the key to EWQLSO in Leopard requires two considerations:
1. EW is *soon* to release its PLAY engine that will run in Leopard, but it's not out yet.
2. NI says that Kontakt 3 is certified for Leopard, which is need to run EW-Plat. I don't have it yet, but I'm eager myself to see what the caveats are. I know that there have been some problems reproted with Kontakt 2 under Leopard, some of which NI has reported:

My system: MacPro 3G, 8GB, 10.4.10/10.5.1, DP 5.11/5.13

Stay tuned, though. My copy of K3 should arrive soon and I'll definitely be giving this a serious test run. Others are likely to chime in in the meantime.NI wrote:The following NI products are not affected by the message window in their latest version, and are therefore safe to use under Mac OS X 10.5:
