USB 2 hard drive suggestions... 5400 or 7200 rpm, etc.

Hi,

Anyone suggest what to look for in a USB 2 external hard drive?

7200? 5400? Firewire/USB type of hard drive? dedicated USB only?

I'm going to use an iBook G4 to do some mobile recording, and I don't want to use my internal hard drive for any audio files.

I'll be using my Ultralite on the Firewire bus.

Get a firewire drive anyway. You can daisy chain the ultralite and the firewire drive together on the same bus. I do it. Works perfect.
