Best way to import an OMF file from ProTools?

Post by teesav »

Hi,

What's the best way to import an OMF file into DP 5.11? I've had some luck choosing SDII file option when exporting from ProTools but I'm wondering if it would be better to choose the WAVE file option.

I know ProTools calls them Broadcast WAVE files....are those the same as a WAVE file in DP 5.11?

Just wondering if there are better options for importing names of tracks, time stamps etc.

Thanks in advance for any advice.
