OH MY ..... I've had the day off to finaly play with dp 4.6. this upgrade surely makes DP the best daw for electronic music ! . !..

Pattern gate is amazing !!!! ive been running my moog voyager through the plugin ... very F'N FUN and the pattern is completely automationable !!!!!

then playing with the a 3 sign wave synth audio track with pitch automation ..... aarrrgh (homer style slighlty drooling )

And the DP tools for drawing automation are making this unbelievable.

If you like the Pattern gate, you should get MX4.
It's much more than that. I downloaded the demo and had to buy it.

what i like about pattern gate is that i can take any recorded audio and create these rythms. a synth , though exciting and fun , just isnt as fun as taking random audio recordecd from car accidents and processing it into a dance beat > mx4 looks great but i have a great subtractive analog synth " moog " that ceates sounds incomparable to mx4 . plus i cant really run it using my comp dual 530 g4 . ive been strictly audio as of recent which has given me a new perspective on creation.

as far as using any audio.... the first thing i tried it on was an accordion track i'd recorded. WOW! can't wait to try it out on others!!
