nope, still havent solve it

seems like broken FW module in MOTU, cause i'm trying on another pc, with TI chip, and another MOTU installed....

tried another cable?
another motu unit?
if the other motu unit works fine on the same cable, then it is your unit that has something wrong.
if it was just the one firewire port, there are 2 on the back, if it dosnt work with either, then its the internals on the unit.

yep, seems it is internal problem of motu hardware....
i have heard, motu can replace or fix the device, if i will pay the shipping, it is right????

shipping plus $50 usd and you get a refurbed unit as good as new, had to do it 2 years ago, and the unit is still working flawless.
warning, it will take 2 weeks or more t get an RMA from motu, but it is well worth it, if the backlight stopped working, whatever other issues you have? you get a unit that is %100 back.
