UViX problems with .NKI files

I've just installed MachFive v.1, updated to 1.2.3 and also done the UViX update. I've got an instance of M5 open in a DP 5.11 file (OS 10.4.8) and am attempting to covert a Kontakt file created in v.2.2.3. I select .NKI as file format and browse to the folder where it sees the .nki files. However, when I click on any of them, I get the spinning rainbow wheel and have to force-quit UViX.

It appears to me that the updater did not remove the older file from application support which was Library/Application Support/MachFive/UviX OSX (v.1.07). I dragged that to the trash and restarted DP but it doesn't appear to have made any difference.

Am I missing something?
