I've also posted this over on the MOTU-MAC list but thought I'd try here as well. I need to prepare some samples in K2, which I own, for import into MachFive, which I do not own. Can anyone describe a way to do that so I can avoid as many hassles as possible? I don't yet know if the receiving party has v.1 or v.2 of M5.
Thanks - JAY BEECH

For the most part, regular .nki files + samples should work just fine.
Things to look out for:
- Make sure they're not saved as Kontakt monoliths (where preset file & samples are saved together in one file) as I don't think MachFive 1 or 2 will read those.
- Encrypted sounds like East-West stuff won't open in M5.
- Most scripts won't translate to M5, though I think keyswitching works.

"I don't see any method at all, sir."
