Motu 896(older) and mac osx Panther?

Hi, I'm new here and I'm considering of buying a 896 used...
I have a mac mini with osx Panther and I use Logic express 7...will I have problems with the older 896?

If I were you I would look at a newer used 896HD -- I think you will find the 0 latency monitoring of cuemix worth the extra dollars. (cuemix does not work with the orig 896)

My 896 works just fine with Tiger and my MacBook.
