MachFive 1.2.3 and Logic 8

I have been using MachFive 1.2.3 with Logic Pro 7 and it has worked fine. I upgraded to Logic 8 and I can not get MIDI playback. I can play and hear M5 if I play my MIDI controller or if I open the piano roll editor and select notes. I can play the M5 from the piano keys on the interface and hear them but MIDI being sent from logic is not played back. I can see the MIDI notes triggering the M5 interface but I hear no sound from it unless I physically play it. any clues?

I hear ya. I had the same problem. Upgraded to Mach5 2 (think that's the idea) and all is well.
