MIDI problems (retriggering)

I've got an issue now where record enabled MIDI tracks will retrigger a held note. IE - if I play a chord, DP sends the chord out my MIDI Timepiece again and again in a regular pulse (about 1.5 seconds apart). So if I held C-D-E, it would sound like:

C-D-E.......C-D-E.......C-D-E.......C-D-E.......

Until I let go. The weird thing is, it doesn't do it while actually recording or playing back a recorded MIDI track. It just does it when a track is record enabled.

Anyone run into this problem before? Thanks in advance.

It also stops the retriggering when I pull down a menu, or click away from the Performer application. So it has to be something in DP telling it to fire again and again.
