Before 24 bit sequences opened nicely, my system is exactly same(DP4.61), only change is the OSX updates. I don't know what kind of Final Cut Pro version is in use, my guess is that 5.xxx something...

That would explain why "some" OMFs won't import while others will. If I get an HD movie to score with a 24 bit OMF, no go. Indy films are usually standard res (with 16 bit audio) and they come in fine as OMF.anapena wrote:I just found out that yesterday. You have to ask them export OMF as 16 bit file, then after sound editing you can bounce your mix as 24 bit...MIDI Life Crisis wrote:
