Well, I assume it is; I haven't tried this yet.

Do I detect a whiff of experience here, Geoff?

Either that or someone's havin' a barbeque.

Careful with those burnt sticks. You'll put an eye out!

And now, I'm reminded of that great (and too little-known) world-music hybrid band from the early '90s, Boiled In Lead. They were also better than getting poked in the eye by a stick, burnt or not.

Aah, a Unicorn of experience. Gotta love it.

Ouch! [Monkey accidentally pokes himself in the eye with a burnt stick].

thanks, yeah, it's showing up now. No reason why it wasn't before. All is fine, nice little synth.

Hey Monk, I installed a few plug-ins after Remedy, so maybe that was the trick? No idea. All I know is that it didn't show up at first, and with a DP reboot & rescan of plug-ins due to some new freebies, there it is.

Strange; I could try a forced rescan.

As a last resort, I might use the installer.

What's new in this version:
Complete rewrite and redesign of the original Automat.

Yay! :D
automat is a great AU instrument. I have a DP template where I have four of those babies loaded and run them each through Vintagewarmer.

I like all the options they give for oscillators, but I wish the samples and granular features were ready.
Randomize and evolution features are amazing. I check their site almost every other day , it seems.

Me too, Guru.

I was disapponted also to realise that my decent library of Automat patches can no longer be read.
I'm naively hoping that the granular and sample osc features' coming online will be simultaneous to Automat's ability to read older presets.

A new VST freebie on the block:

UNO-60, a JUNO 60-inspired polyphonic VA, with a rather nice chorus effect (also available as a separate VST plug-in).

No mention of AU versions yet, but if we keep up the pressure...

http://kunz.corrupt.ch/?Products:VST_U-NO-60:Download

Several presets have the "Save CPU" button in the upper left hand corner on ••“ switch it off!

If it were easy, anybody could do it.

How does the UNO-60 compare to DP's own Polysynth (which is evidently based on either a Juno 60 or 106)?

Hi

yellow tools releases "Independence Free" with 2 GB free sound library
for Mac OS X (Universal Binary)

http://www.yellowtools.com/

Download also YT Key Manager OS X application to make Independence Free work properly.

The server seems to be busy but I managed to download it yesterday.
