Make ISO Image

Post by bkshepard »

Hey Gang,

Is there a different--faster--way to make an ISO disc image than from the file browser in MV2? I've got some third-party discs I want to use, but it takes a really long time to convert. Thanks.

You could try OS X's Disk Utility, or Toast, or any other 3rd-party utility that makes ISO disk images, but I'm guessing it could be hit or miss as to whether those apps can read the various formats that MachFive can. If you only have a few disks to image, it would probably take more time to investigate your options than it would to just image them in M5.

Thanks CTB. I was afraid that was the case. And you're right, I only have a few discs to do. I'll just keep doing it with MV2.
