Yeah, it's at least confirmed that Spectrasonics wanted no part of it, so the oversight was with 2.0. This is just what I needed to know.

Just wished I ordered the upgrade two weeks earlier, so it would be shipped with version 2.0 instead of 2.01 I received yesterday....... Looked at Motu's site, only the update and not version 2.0 for download. Too bad.

what is interesting is that on page 153 it says that

UniversalSoundbank files (.dat & .ufs) can be mounted in the M5 browser.


so it had been thought out.

so does 2.01 still mount Ethno and MSI .dat & .ufs files? and is it just the Spectrasonics stuff that has been disabled? or has the baby been thrown under the train with the bathwater?

As far as I can see it is only the Spectrasonics .dat files that won't open, MSI and Ethno are fine.
