Does The PCI-324 2408mk11 Work In OS 10.4?

Hello to all,

I'm thinking of upgrading my ppc g4 from OS10.3.8 to OS10.4 to run Logic Pro 7.2.3. Will my pci-324 2408mk11 run on that OS? I checked motu's website and it spoke of the 424 and 10.4 but not the 324.

The Universal MOTU installer didn't work on my G4. I had install the 1.0.8 version of the driver found under the 324 download section in order to get the card to be recognized.

But CueMix doesn't work with 324 and os x, you'll need the 424. Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm running 2408MkII with 424 on a PPCG4.

Yes Cuemix DSP needs the 424 card.

This is getting my goat as well......I just scored a 2408mkII and new dual gig tower running 10.4.1. from ebay.
Downloaded the newest (only) available drivers and am trying to set up routing. The motu is outputting fine, but I was having some problems getting a signal in. I decided to subtract the board from the equation while trouble shooting and am trying to run a Korg ms-2000 direct in.
Pretty sure the Korg is -10dB....but was VERY frustrated to find that I cannot use the software boost in cuemix.
Is there any way around this???
I really would like to skip messing with the jumpers seeing as (hopefully) I'll just have to switch them back in a minute or two.

Is there ANY supported configuration software that is compatible with both the 324 card and 10.4???

I would think that since MOTU lags behind apple concerning compatibility and support, they would respect the need for backwards compatibility.

Any advice on this would be welcome!!!

Driver version 1.0.8 works fine under 10.4.11. I use it regularly.
