Hey...it would be cool to hear what peoples' favorite effects plugins are (not VI instruments, just effects/processors) when working with DP as host. How about, separated into a few each of favorite mastering/mix processors (SV-315) versus FX or time-based (Soundtoys Native).
This would be very useful information, to know what the top/favorite plugins are among DP users.
My favorite hands-down is Sonalksis SV-315
your favorite effect plugins for DP projects??

My fave few:
Core mixing / finalizing plugs:
1. Waves C4 - on the stereo bus, in every project. Most important all-around plugin in any category, in my particular studio
2. Izotope Ozone - used to finalize most projects, even if just one or two of the presets (limiter is used on EVERY project, compression usually, Eq and the great EQ matching function most of the time.
3. Vinntage warmer - used only at track level, so far, working out mighty well
4. Waves IR-L: my go-to verb, meets all my needs until I get flithy rich and go buy Altiverb.
FX / time-dependent effects, roughly in order of how hard they'd have to be pulled out of my clutching hands by a thief
1. Fabfilter Volcano - my favoriet filter plug in. Used on many tracks. Simple, low-latency, stable, provides a wealth of musical, somewhat unpredictable and exciting offshoots from an original musical theme or idea. Truly inspired piece of kit for $129. The more I use it, the more I realize what it can do.
2. Fabfilter Timeless. Same company, same emphasis on "musical", Fabfilters products' are more "partners" than "tools" in the creative experience.
3. PSP 608 - blows my mind, hard to grasp but worth the effort. Complicated and fussy - but astoundig sonic possibilities.
4. AudioDamage's BigSeq - a forgotten brother to some of AudioDamage's heavier hitters, this simple $40 tool is, when put after a good filter and before a delay, a major asset for producing fresh and well-articulated rhythms. I used to have some multi-hundred $ boxes that did this, but this one does it so much better. .. with MIDI learn and MIDI automation. What a steal for $40.
C4, IR-L, and Volcano make their way into almost every project I do.
