I use DP4.61. I imported a 16 track OMF file that was created in, I believe, Final Cut Pro, in like 1 minute, with video window, timecode etc etc. The first project that I did with video sync.
Anyway, I am assuming that 4.52 is the same as 4.61, but it is a free update so you can step up.
Make sure that the OMF contains only mono files, no stereo files. I have heard that this makes or breaks the import, most likely due to the SDII .L/.R thing. I just know that the OMF that I had imported fine and was all mono files.
Hope that this helps.

thanks for the tip gearboy.
according to the fellow who made the omf file there are no stereo tracks contained within it.
interestingly, i now have the same project on a dvd that is just wav. files and i can't seem to import that either.
the files were generated using cubase on a pc.
i don't usually have any problem importing wav.
i'm feeling rather at a loss to know what to do next.
is it operator error or is it some sort of compatabilty issue?
any thoughts would be much appreciated
