Good! :P

Rumors and hints are fine-- they keep forums hopping. But your series of reports held the only official info that confirmed my specific issues even when my response from NI tech support cited "repairing permissions" as the solution.

NI did a good thing and they delivered. No question. I won't be able to really put 2.2.3 through its paces for a few days, though.

I know that David Polich and wheever will be happy to get the news, having read just last night about their experiences with 2.2.1

Thanks again!

Downloaded and updated.

No detailed reports yet-- next week probably as I'm about to hit the road tonight...

But.. loads were FEROCIOUS!! Woah!! I think I went back in time or something.

Keep in mind that some of you may not notice that big of a difference-- but I was having some heavy duty issues on this end with bog-down.

Save times are also down from about 15 seconds to 5 seconds. This is vastly improved.

Installed and crashed at Thread 0 in stand alone mode. Doesn't pass AU verification in DP. After a couple of tries at downloading and re-installing, (time consuming due to slow NI download speeds) I reverted to 2.2.1 and am stable again. Glad I had made a Disc Image of my system not long ago.

Seems we're back to the same issues again - some report no problems, lots of improvement, others can't get it to work at all.

The usual for NI. I'm getting close to being done with them altogether. The last update I purchased (Reaktor 5x) just wouldn't load any instrument or ensemble - period. I had to revert back to my older version which works fine.

I installed on my G5 Quad with no problems what so ever.
The UB version is fine for PPC.
I have notice a quicker load time, for what it's worth.
Ran it for about 12hrs yesterday with no problem.

This is great news. It sounds promising to me that they list actual crashes that they have fixed. I've been coming to the conclusion that K2 was the source of the "disappearing DP" crashes that I have had.

May it be so!

This new version charged on MacPro and functions without probléms in
StandAlone mode. It is true that the loading of the sounds is very
fast.
I will test on G5, thank you sndhse _

I'd hate to throw a wrench in anyone's gears, but K2 has been absolutely solid on my Intel Mac - so much so that I may not even download the update.

No crashes, fast loads - I think the only issue I've experienced is sometimes K2 cannot find the sample and I have to have it perform a search.

Were any features added in 2.2.1 or 2.2.3?

I tried the 2.2.3 update and things seemed a little shakier and heavier on the CPU. I reinstalled 2.2.0 from my backup drive. Some day I will learn not to update if I am not having a problem or unless there are new features available.
