Syncing 828MKI with 828MKII

Is it possible to sync the 828 MK2 with 828 MK1 ?

Yes but as the 828 only has 1 Firewire input it has to be the 2nd on the daisy chain.

just connect a Firewire cable from PC to 828MKII and then from the 828MKII's 2nd Firewire connector place a cable that goes to the 828MKI.

Select the clock source from within the MOTU Firewire Audio Console general Tab. Each unit is ID individually.
