If you ever did want to sue, MLC's your guy; he gets all excited at the very mention of the word.shadoe42 wrote:oops... use... hehehe...mhschmieder wrote:Why would you want to sue it?
I'll fling it, and you can cook it up.MIDI Life Crisis wrote:You mean like 3 or 4 years from now???monkey man wrote:If it's not yet UB, which I suspect it isn't, I'd imagine it'd be hot on the heals of MachFive II...

I'm afraid you have the wrong impression of me. When your work is out in a commercial release and it is bootlegged FOR PROFIT, you are basically REQUIRED to file an action once you find out about it. You have three years to file for infringement. If there are persistent infringements by multiple persons and you still don't file, the property is considered abandoned and you could loose your standing to sue at all.monkey man wrote: If you ever did want to sue, MLC's your guy; he gets all excited at the very mention of the word.
I guess I'm lucky that about a dozen people have decided that my music is worth stealing. For a small player like me, that sounds like a lot of lawsuits. But in the commercial world of movies and music, it is actually a very small number. I tend to hold on to my publishing (broadcast and distribution) rights. Many artists don't (can't). This means it is up to me, not a distributor or a studio, to pursue infringers.
So it is NOT that I like lawsuits. I don't. But I like being ripped off even less!

Ok, OK, so you're an upstanding Gorilla-boy.MIDI Life Crisis wrote:Get it, grub breath?
I can dig, and I was just havin' a dig, bongo-breath.

Dang, I've flung so much poo tonight I'm in it up to my nostrils.
Must be the cold or something; I'm designed for 30C weather, man.
Intellectual copyright is sacred as far as I'm concerned, and I'm impressed that you've managed to protect yours, Magilla.
I'd assumed only the best of you, as is my brief, so don't feel no grief, reefster.

Well done, mate; you gorillas represent something we low-life monkeys aspire to!

now if the palestinians, Israeli's, MLC and monkey man can all coexist with harmony there will be a strong chance for whirled peas.

I'm right to go, especially if I can figure out how to discern between Gorilla-Boy's talkin' and fartin'.jgest wrote:now if the palestinians, Israeli's, MLC and monkey man can all coexist with harmony there will be a strong chance for whirled peas.

I installed ethno on my pc today and got it working after a bit of messing around
It's a great plug, I've downloaded the update, does it fix the drag and drop issue with cubase? Every time I drag audio cubase locks up. Also I've yet to find a MIDI file I can drag and drop to see if thats working ok. It works fine with Stylus RMX.
