this would be perfect.>. right now we curently get that little piano roll window ..but since I mostly do edits in even list from the tracks window I though it would be great if you see blocks like the Tracks window.. and ofcourse just being able to move everything as easily inthe Sequence window without have to zoom in realllyl small in order to grab the whole bar. giving us a work area like Cubase or Logic..

that's been requested ad nauseum...i'd love to see something like this (even in the arrange) as well, but i don't think i'll hold my breath...
for what you'd want, i think it would just involve a new phrase parsing setting: "as recorded", and the allowance of the relevent editing features in TO. if this does get added, though, vertical zoom in TO will definitely be a necessity, imo. some people already see it as one now.
personally, i'd love to see transparent objects in the SE, and native support for 32float bwav.

i tend to use logic for banging out roughs...dragging the blocks around, and using the included vi's. i find it easier to work "macro" that way.
the project then moves to dp for fine editing, the "big gun" vi's, and audio work.

Just hold down control and click+drag on the tracks window to select whatever bar(s) you want. Then you can copy/paste/drag to your hearts content. With 'smart selections' turned on DP will also select notes that were played slightly early (ie. intended for beat 1 but landed on beat 4.473).mgmediaworks wrote:this would be perfect.>. right now we curently get that little piano roll window ..but since I mostly do edits in even list from the tracks window I though it would be great if you see blocks like the Tracks window.. and ofcourse just being able to move everything as easily inthe Sequence window without have to zoom in realllyl small in order to grab the whole bar. giving us a work area like Cubase or Logic..
