Hi all-
Lately DP 4.6 will not open with the Mbox. I get an Mas Coreaudio error nope, DevSet:StartAudioCallbacks error. I called DP, they told me to downgrade to Digi coreaudio driver 6.7. Still didn't work. Did work prior to 4.6 but 4.52 will not open now too. I saw that other people on this forum was using 6.9 with the Mbox, so I loaded it and everything was fine. Tried to open new session, error again.
Mbox shows up in hardware setup when error box opens. But I get error again when choosing ok. Can't figure this one out. Using a PB 1.33/10.3.8/4.6. ProTools le opens up fine.
Thanks.

Re: DP won't let Mbox load
I've had the same problem, but haven't found a solution here or on the Digidesign web site. EVENTUALLY, I get it to work, but I'm not sure what it is that I'm doing to get to work. Last night, for example, I think I did the following...
1. Made sure the Digi Core Audio driver was set to the same buffer setting as what is in the hardware setup box in DP (for me, 512).
2. Booted up DP without Mbox attached.
3. Attached Mbox.
4. Went to the setup dialog in DP and chose Mbox.
It worked, but this was after having detached and reattached Mbox several times, and opening and quitting DP several times. Maybe this is the right order...? It took so long to get it working that I didn't experiment further, but I will in the future.
BTW, I'm using Pro Tools LE 6.9 (with the 6.9 driver) on a Powerbook G4.

Strange indeed. I tried reinstalling 6.9 and the Mbox worked fine. My problem is it arbitrarily stops loading sometimes giving me that coreaudio error. Something must be corrupting coreaudio but I don't know what. I've tried new sessions, same thing. 10.3.9 is ok with DP 4.6?
Thanks,
