Are those patterns the much anticipated five volume compendium of Unicorn Loops for MachFive II?

My reason for mentioning finding my receipt had to do with the fact that MOTU users had to "re-register" software and hardware around the beginning of May (when the DP 5.1.2 update was released). I did not remember what date I entered as date of purchase.

The reasons why we had to "re-register" will, I'm sure, remain a mystery to us, but I didn't want to take any chances with some screwball entry I may have made.

MOTU just repsonded that they have made of note in my record indicating eligibilty for the v2 upgrade and to contact them after it's release. :D :D 8) :D :D

Thanks for the head's up. Paris Hilton and MachFive V.2 should be released about the same time. Who knew?

Ha! Does she come with MachFive?
Oh yeah, that's right; everyone knows who she comes with.

I feel for her... every night.
No, seriously, I'm sure she's a good gal underneath.
Hang on, we've already seen underneath. Doh!

I still think she can turn her life around; it's a matter of guts, really.
Oh, and I do think there's a gentle, loving person underneath all that plastic. :D

Well Billy, I've been negotiating a special deal with MOTU this week on behalf of all Unicorns.
I was supposed to keep quiet about this, but seeing as you've brought it up:
The entire Monkey Sessions Collection (Boxed set), comprising all the takes of all the categories (including hollas, squawks, squeals, grunts, yelps, farts, burps and poo hitting a fan at various angles and speeds), and totalling an additional 32GB, will be made available on statically neutral (free of charge) DVDs by the end of July for all registered 'Cornies.

The only disappointment was that when MOTU informed me the sessions (spanning 5 days) were over and I pointed out that I still had at least 8GB left in me, they insisted I leave.
Something about the walls, floor and equipment needing a clean apparently.
Still, I managed to turn this unfortunate truncation of the recording sessions into a future benefit:
Free with MachV III (in 2027) will be a similar Unicorn offer for the remaining 8GB of spurious bodily noises I know I still have in me.

FWIW, I wouldn't accept royalties as MOTU suggested I do, and instead pulled the scoop contract of the decade:
Any time my banana-leaf hammock snaps during the next 12 months, MOTU's obliged to rent me a room at that most acclaimd of poo-flingin' premises, the local ablution block, until the repair job is complete.
I don't think they're aware of what an amazing deal they've cut me; I mean, it could take days to fix the hamock.

That settles it. I was curious as to which product would be the big hit of 2007, the iPhone or MachFive II.

But since Apple has decided not the bundle The Monkey Sessions Collection with the iPhone, it will make MachFive II bigger than the iPhone.

I think I'm starting to get an idea of what it's like to have a fan base.
Of one.

Dude, if I ever get a deal with a major, I'm nominating you as an honorary, life member of the fan club.
You know the one - the club of folks who're into all aspects of poo hittin' the fan.

LOL, is that like the Mickey Mouse Club?

I suppose if we held a Unicornation contest for the most entertaining avatars, Monkey Man and MIDI Life Crisis would be amongst the top of the list. We could throw Frodo in there for good measure, but his avatars are always a mug shot of Frodo, so maybe not.

Anyway, here's a legit question about the new MachFive II, for those who have either seen it or read the EM review. Does it handle Apple Loops and Acid Loops in any sort of improved fashion over the current version of Machy?

I've heard of that one.
I'll bet they don't let you bring your own crayons.

The local newsagent didn't receive EM.
Several trips there have yielded nothing.

I too would love to know.
Anyone care to extrapolate a "mini-review" for the rest of us? :D

Well, if the rumors are true that MachyII can read any sample formats, think of what else a K2 killer would do. One of those things would seem to me to be seamless Apple Loop/Acid capability that works cross platform, cross DAW. Anyway, I so want to see the final specs on the new Machy, and I hope it really is a killer beast.

Okay PooManchu, back to you.

Anna Nicole returns, stuffed, with a tutorial video on how to run MachFive V.2.x from Airport Extereme while in a hammock bundled up all cozy with an iPhone!?

Is this...

A. Part of the J.R. "dream sequnce" from our favorite Dallas episode?

B. Another clever MOTU/Apple marketing ploy that won't "come" (sp?) to fruition for two years?

C. Whoever really runs this "Blue Marbles'" way of letting us know that we're really not in control after all?

You have 30 seconds to step away from the Sheriff's Deputy that asked me if I was on any medication this morning.

Some assembly needed.
