Re: trouble with audio pitch on DP4.6
using 10.3.9 here, dual 1 gig G4, I tried with a newly created project, imported some audio and while the processor seems to be busier i still can't hear any pitch changes in the audio
Re: trouble with audio pitch on DP4.6
It's G4/500 MHz with 512 RAM.Any info on what the minimum requirements to run this DSP upgrade in 4.6 are?
The recommend system is a dual G4 and 1 GB of RAM.

Re: trouble with audio pitch on DP4.6
Pitch automation works some times and some times not. If I double click in the track in which I am changing the pitch and drag across the section that has been changed I can hear the pitch change but not in regular play back. Can someone explain the proper way to use this feature? Magic Dave? Thanks.

Yea, pitch automation has so far been really inconsistent. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Haven't been able to figure out the pattern yet.

Re: trouble with audio pitch on DP4.6
hmm, how about quantizing the pitch for a track and then bouncing to disk ? would that fix it ?
Re: trouble with audio pitch on DP4.6
What exactly are you trying to change ie instrument, voice.
I have a Dual 2G5 and I opened a project that I was working on in 4.52. I copied a portion of a vocal track to a new track, opened the Sequence window, selected pitch from the pulldown menu, waited 30 seconds for the file to analized, then pulled the vocal track up to harmonize with the original. It sounded a little flangy like by itself, but it blended in nicely in the mix. Really cool so far.
