I have bought RAM and other items from them on several occasions and never had a problem.

As often as I have purchased RAM over the years I have only "once" ever gotten bad ram, That purchase was Apple RAM from an Apple dealer.

Just my thoughts:

I have purchased computer parts and software but never RAM from OWC and never had any problems with the products I did purchase.

I would check with them as to the warranty on the RAM they sell.

Since RAM is so crucial to the computer operation would only buy the very best memory sticks and would also want a money back warranty if it fails in a memory test.

There is RAM and then there is RAM: in the the long run quality and reliable performance does cost. Still have to wonder how come they can sell it for so cheap?

OWC is a very good company,I have never bought ram from them but I would without hesitation(if it has lifetime warranty).I bought Firmtek (esata)and 4 hard drives from them.I actually changed my mind and changed the order while it was being shipped ,they were very nice about changing my order ,and made the experience a very good one. Some companies(MacMall comes to mind)would have been a nightmare w/ this(I will never give them my $$ after my 1st Mac purchase 5 years ago)OWC are one of the best companies I have dealt w/ for my Mac needs
KG
2012 Mac Pro 3.46GHz 12 core 96 gig,Mojave, DP11.01,Logic 10.51, RME UCX,Great River ME-1NV,a few microphones,UAD2, Komplete 12U,U-he,Omni & way too many VI's,Synths & FX galore!, Mimic Pro w/ SD3,Focal Twin 6 monitors, Shunyata...........

thanks for all the feedback. It's just $209. for 3 gigs of ram almost sounds to good to be true, unless I have just been out of the ram prices for a while (2 years at least)
