Hi there,
how can i manage that a trac that‘s in record mode, while punching in will be muted.?The actor should hear the old recording, but when I punch in, the new record, he should only hear the mic input not the recording through DP.
Thanks
a lot

Hi Jens:
Not sure if you've tried this or not, but DP has a setting called Overdub Record Mode.
When this is on, it will not erase any data already on the track.
When this is off, it will replace whatever data is on the track.
When used in combination with start and stop times, you can automate when DP "punches in" and "punches out". All of these settings are made on DP's transport, which is also known as the Control Panel.
The default key command for Overdub Record Mode on/off is '*' on the number pad.
