Wow, that Rs-16x app looks pretty cool

Note on Battery 3: What you want to do (spread a sample across a note range) could NOT be easier. Go to the Cell menu, enter a key range (e,g, C1 to C2), and push the "Tracking" button. You can spread across as many notes as you like.

As far as pads are concerned, that's going to be as subjective as keyboard controllers. I was surprised to hear the negative comments on the Korg Kontrol 49, which presumably is the same as the Korg padKontrol in terms of the actual pads used. To me they feel the most responsive; whereas the Akai MPC pads have always felt too hard-surfaced to me and less responsive to increments of velocity. That's why it is as subjective as people giving their preferences for different keybed actions on various keyboard controllers.

It does look cool, but can anyone elaborate a little on its use with DP? I just downloaded it, but I'm at work. There doesn't seem to be any visual demo's on their site or explaination as to what it is except for "Sequence & Song style stand-alone drum machine program with virtual controller pads & keyboard. Creates drum tracks without any external devices."

How is it incorporated with DP? Can it be used as a plugin? Do you have to create tracks and them import them into DP? Where's it getting it's samples from?

I know... I have a lot of questions. Like I said, I'm at work... I'll mess with it tonight, but any info i can get now will help.

Thanks!
