I'm having an issue getting my MCU to work with DP 4.6. The unit is receiving information from DP just fine. The faders move, time code follows, even transport information is great. The problem is controlling DP from the MCU. I believe everything is hooked up properly. I can see MIDI information passing from the MCU on the MIDI activity panel. But as far as controlling DP, it's not working. There are no filters running... I can only think it's a software switch somewhere and I haven't found anything in the manual which would solve it, as of yet. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Totally get your point. Yes, I've RTFM'd the MCU chapter, but the chapter is about operations, not setup. I understand how it works, I just have a problem with DP seeing the commands coming from the MCU. There's a few paragraphs about setup of control surfaces in the preceding chapter, which I've read and checked. Everything appears normal, right down to the MCU displaying accurate time code, I just have no control from the MCU. Audio MIDI setup in the OS appears fine, too, and there are no active MIDI filters. I'm pretty sure this is a software issue (e.g. I'm doing something wrong!), I've changed MIDI cables in and out of the MCU, and the activity in the MIDI monitor tells me there's a signal coming from the MCU, DP is just not allowing that information to control the program.Phil Jeffers wrote: Sorry is this sounds condescending, but I guess you'd want to illuminate any basic issues before we get more detailed...
