Am I just overlooking something? Pre-send solo exempt?

But I don't think that Send Mutes are remembered in Mixes, unless automated. Track mutes, yes.

Group the tracks and mute the sends.
Use temporary grouping (select tracks, then hold the 'T' key while muting a send).

Or not.

Really, let me check that....well, send mute configuration is remembered in Mix mode here without any automation. I just tried it.

I guess what I suggested might just make it a bit easier than going through and individually selecting the tracks that have a pre-fader send in operation but aren't in the solo'd group. In a seperate mix, you could just do a wholesale select of everything outside the solo'd group. In a 100 track project, that might make things a bit easier.

One other consideration might be the fact that the only window where it's really plain to see which tracks have a pre-fader send in operation is the Mixer window, but you can't select tracks from that window. There might be quite a lot of back and forthing between windows to make sure you've got the right tracks selected in the group for send muting.

Maybe I'm thinking of an earlier version, I've not tried it in a while.

So if you mute a send in mix 2, then go back to mix 1, the send will be un-muted (assuming that it was un-muted before)?
