Can Kontakt be recorded to DP this way?

I'm currently considering purchasing Kotakt, to use both the provided 15GB sample set and to resurrect some old Akai samples. Would anyone care to comment on Kontakt's performance within DP, and on its ability to load Akai format samples.

* DP is not the most efficient VI host. I mean CPU usage. I am using DP but when I need host only then I use Bidule.

* I have had no problems with AKAI disks. Works.
