Hi everyone,
How do you route ADAT optical through the 828mkII in standalone mode?
Normally i use my MAC/Motu 828mkII as the master and my PC/EMU1212m as the slave computer.
the optical out of my PC's EMU1212 audio interface connects to the optical in on the Motu 828mkII.
Sometimes i want to use the PC and not have to turn on the MAC, but i still want to be able to send ADAT to the 828mkII in standalone mode and have the 828mkII convert/route to my monitors.
I can route analog and SPDIF through the 828mkII in standalone mode just fine, but ADAT doesn't go through.
Ideally, the clock in the 828mkII would slave to clock of my PC/EMU1212m while using the 828mkII in standalone mode.
I'm a bit new to this Motu interface, and i even bought the manual, but it doesn't give that much information on how to use it in standalone mode.
any suggestions are appreciated, thanks.

I should add a little more info if it helps you understand:
i'm using two optical cables (one for input and one for output).
i'm also using two BNC cables (one for clock input and output).
I tried sending the clock signal from my PC/EMU1212m through the BNC cables and tried it through the optical cables.
Ideally i'd like to send the clock using the BNC cables.
By the way, the EMU1212m is the audio interface that is connected to my PC.
Thanks.
