Server policy now preventing Up & Downloading large file

Post by Timeline »

My question is, using "Connect to server" from the file menu, is it possible to connect directly with another computer to grab a large file over internet?

My server company, all of a sudden, has restriced my up and downloding from my own site to 8MB's.

Hi

I have been using Pando for that.

It is free. You can download it here:

http://www.pando.com/download

Zip your files before Uploading.

Perhaps I did not read all the info at the Pando site but is there a fee for using their services?

Like, what's the catch?

Hi

Catch this:

Yes it is free if you have files sized less than 1 GB.

Pando is 100% clean of spyware, adware and viruses.
And yes, its free. Enjoy it, and if you run into problems,
drop us a quick note directly from Pando by clicking the
"feedback" link.

Read also the "Need more juice?" part.

Thanks for your help.

I always get fooled by those "free" downloads that suddenly flash me a limited/restricted use without coughing up some monies.

One gig is really generous especially when you split up larger files using Toast. Unless I got that split up files wrong.
