Guys, I think we're losing it.
Difficult to be certain; we seem to have lost all sense of objectivity.

MOTU, for the sake of your flock's sanity...

It's safe to say that MOTU has heard from most of us over the past 12-18 months. It's also interesting why it has to be spelled out again what a problem it is to leave your own customers waiting for a promise bereft of fulfilliment for two years.

The point of the other sit-in thread is that MOTU owes its M5 customers and explanation moreso than the other way around.
Hah, sorry I should've included a wink in my post, it's no brainer to agree with your points there :)

Basically what I meant was that we should start thinking of a possibility that an expedition will have to be carried out to the Antarctica. Jim Cooper with Magic Dave will take the lead and James will act as an observer with Shooshie.
Now, there's a great idea! I'll round up the dogs and penguins!!

Hahah, what a great thread :) I came to see if there was any news since updating to my MacPro has left my Mach5 install disks with a bit of dust building up on them.

It's sad to say because I remember making the decision between M5 and Kontakt, now I am almost wishing I had went the other way. What am I saying, Kontakt still isn't as nice as what I like in Mach 5! :)

Luckily, I've gotten by with a little nanosampler. And if I needed my sample based drum kits, I could just bring them into battery3 (which is probably not a bad idea) or Model12.

I'm so glad you've managed to keep the faith, Doity Dawg.

Ignoring all our speculation, there's nothing to fear; Machy's merely taking her time.
I'm certain MOTU would have announced her discontinuation had they chosen to do so.

Knowing that you appreciate the MOTU way, you're bound to be happy with it.

Oh, I didn't think they were discontinuing it :) I'd rather them take the time and get it right honestly. And it was MY choice to update my system, no theirs.

It's just the realization that I need something now and am pushing off using other substitutions. Oh how I miss the effects engine in it.

The Dawg is a rational thinker. Good one, mate.

Hey, they can only ever be... substitutes.
Well said, man.
