Considering the trend towards complete integration of software/hardware workflow, I think I would personally rank MusicXML import (and possibly even export, as there are some rudimentary notation tools in QuickScribe that do not impact the MIDI playback), as the top new feature request for DP.

While we wait for Digital Performer to add MusicXML support, there's a great new product out to go from Digital Performer to MusicXML. PDFtoMusic Pro converts PDFs printed directly from music programs like DP into MusicXML format which you can then import into Finale, Sibelius, or many other programs. Because it's using the vector and music font data from the music program, it's much more accurate for transfering notation than either scanning programs or MIDI transfer.
