We need one (or two) active DI rack units (8-way i guess) for an upcoming tour. We're not using separate Di's because we will have so many line outputs (also my experience of using inhouse DI's has not been a pleasant one) and we would hope to not have to set this up for every gig, but just have it plumbed in ready to go in the rack (ie. samplers straight into the DI unit).
Anyone have ideas for some good models, especially some that are available in Australia (they are not as readily available here as overseas it seems). I've heard that companies like BSS and Klark Teknik do not make rack varieties (someone correct me if i'm wrong... i beg you because i want one of these!)

james

This certainly isn't the cheapest route to go, but Radial (arguably) makes some of the best DI's on the market. This will also give you the flexibility to mix and match passive and active DI's in any configuration you'd like.

I like the look of that.
We were considering just sticking the DI's to the rack with velcro straps but i would like something a bit more durable than that. Having heard much about Radial but they look to be pretty good. Any more suggestions from anyone?
Regards,
James
