Gotta agree. ClassicVerb is the only 'verb I use.
Hell, it's practically the only 'verb I've got.

Do I sell PoCo for Altiverb and UAD?
Bloody tempting. :?

Would you even get anything for it? I don't think my old mkI would be worth much these days. Might as well leave it chugging away taking a bit of the burden off my G4.

Would love to get Altiverb, when I can convince my wife that it's worth not eating for a few weeks.

Figured I'd wait 'till I do the Intel upgrade, as it's PCI.
The UAD would then be the e-card.
Still hopin' MOTU lays the 'verb on nice and thick soon, saving $1000 Aussie on Altivecverb.

Guess I'm lucky; I only have to convince my stomach.

Cheers, Cliffo.

The only thing keeping me from selling my entire powercore bundle (virus, voice modeler, fire wire, pci mk1) as a package is lethargy, and laziness to sit down a put it on e-bay. I like the verb. Actually  aside from the mono synth deal, I enjoy the plug-ins. The virus to me is the (modern) synth that all (modern) synths are to be judged against (kind of like the monster F5^*CK of your life.... )
But I am becoming very sensitive to customer service, and marketing as a measure of the quality and integrity of the product. The 2.0 thing with all the "trial software" is a bunch of hot air for me. But now that I am on an intel, i'll have no choice when they release the drivers this quarter.

On the water issue......this is deep stuff, I'm all over it and have lots to say. Maybe it should get relocated to OT for a few page run or not. I'd hate to give some poor schmuck a nervous breakdown if they are trying to trouble shoot their powercore and have to sift through our discourse......
Macbook pro, 3 gigs of ram, osx 10.62, Dp 5.13, Live 8.1.2, Reason 4, Tc powercore Virus, Albino 3.02, proper ergonomic sitting posture, plenty of coffee (french press only with a pinch of cardamon added)

Sorry for datcourse; you know how I am on all matters health and design-related.
Anyway, I hear ya. It was a half-arsed attempt anyway. Too big a subject.

I probably should have at least mentioned ways of re-educating water, in retrospect.
God help us at a U-Nation party; I still reckon we'd be yakkin' like a gaggle o' hippies 3 days later.

Still, when you consider just how dead the PoCo forum is (noheaven, I think it's called, and how appropriate), it'd be a nice change for a TC troubleshooting customer.
Come to think of it, anything'd be a nice change for a TC troubleshooting customer!
You know how it goes - 'round and 'round in circles...
The PoCo Shuffle", I like to call it.
It's always the same dance, and you always end up on your arse somehow.

Hehe... and those are the good things you can say about it.

I like the way you read a thread with a distinct sense of déjà vu, 'till you realise it's 4 years old, and you've read it every time you've been to NoKiddin'Heaven.

Gotta call it a night, my hippy friend.
'Til next time...
