Please help. I am installing my new ultralite and have tried repeated times with the same outcome. Each time I install the drivers (have tried newest from the website, as well as the CD included in the box) after installing the drivers, I restart the computer and connect the ultralite. I starts installing and gets through 3 drivers and then starts installing a "Audio Waves" driver and completely locks up!!! This has happened 4 times now as I try to resolve it. Nothing is working.
Here is my setup:
Dell Inspiron E1505 1.83 Ghz core duo, 2G RAM
Windows XP Pro SP2 with firewire Hotfix
SIIG firewire expresscard with TI chipset
Cubase 4
I have used two other firewire interface without much problem - alesis multimix firewire, and m-audio firewire 410. I thought the ultralite would be more sturdy and a better interface than either of those, so I upgraded. Now I can't even get it installed. Please Help!!!!
