Hello,
The setup:
Motu ultralite
Mac pro 2.66 Ghz Dual-Core
5 Gb DDR2
OS X 10.4.8
+ all the latest updates / drivers
The problem:
For some reason ultralites audio output stops when playing sounds from Itunes / quicktime player.
Internal speaker / line out works perfectly
I have tried to uninstall and reinstall motu drivers , but it does not help for long.
Last time it worked about one second and before that it worked almost one day.
Sometimes restarting helps sometimes not.
I need to start radio program production quite soon and I will install dp5 after this nightmare is ower.
I haven't had this kind of broblems with my other setups.
Please help!

I can't explainI saw on
MACPRO 2ghz 1go ram 10.4.8
828 mkI DP 5.11
hi,
i've got the same trouble:as an example, when I quit dp 5.11 and open Kontakt 2, the motu 828 outputs don't work. And then I have to restart several times, and to do many things with not really a method , to get it working. And all this with a prerelease beta version of the future motu driver.
The hardware is nevertheless ok with my powerbook running under 10.3.9 os.
I read on forums that this problem could come from the system 10.4.8, and that it exists also with other firewire hardware like RME.
