Virtual instruments not apearing in DP5.01 Instruments List

Post by javitoya »

Hi!

I've recently installed DP5.01 in my Mac 1.8GHZ G5(Not intel) and the new Motu's Virtual instruments Doesn't appear in the list...but they DO load at startup...¿Any clue? The only instruments that show up are the"Apple: DSL" and motu"Polysynth".

tere must be something very silly that I'm not doing here...

Thanks in advance :D

That's strange, I run on a G5 1.8 and they show up. I am not too sure o the MAS plugins, but try repairing permissions. Also, just go to 5.11, believe me, it's A LOT better.

agree w grimepoch -- don't bother trouble shooting DP5.01. Please update to DP 5.11. It is way better.

If that does not fix your problem, let us know.

PS read the readmes that come with 5.11 -- if you have audioease plugs you need to get the latest versions which are free. Lots of people have forgotten to read the read mes first (me included).

OK!

Thanks very much for the feedback....i've installed the 5.11 version and everything worked fine (The virtual Instruments now show up....even opening with DP 5.01)...the only thing is that the "Apple software synthetiser" dissapeared completely....I use that for certain jobs...¿Any Idea?

Thanks

In my add track: instrument track menu it shows up with this name (rather than "Apple Software Synthesizer"):

Apple:DLSMusicDevice

Hope this helps
