mach five & cubase4

upgraded to cubase 4 and i cant seem to input any text in mach five.
any help please.works fine in Cubase sx3.

Mac g5 DP 1.8, 10.4.7, 3gb ram,Cubase 4, Mach five, 01x, etc.

I am having a LOT of trouble with machfive and CUBASE 4.
Cannot import loops and samples (.aif), cannot input text and a lot more.
Why ??
