DP5.11 not seeing FW-1884 control surface

Hi all,

Anyone using the FW-1884 control surface? In previous versions, DP and the 1884 worked great. The drivers are installed and DP sees the 1884 in the audio/MIDI setup but not in the control surface setup.

Mac Mini 1.6, 2gb ram (Tiger)

I'm using in 5.11 with no probs...

Maybe you can try downloading the latest driver from tascom and re-install...

Thanks..that is good to know. I did install the latest from Tascam (1.6.0)

I'm also using the same setup with no problems.. I did have some similar issues with DP 4.0.. But everything is good since then.. 4.6... 5..

I'm thinking of getting a mac mini as an extra interim set up - what kind of performance is it giving?

They supposed to be quite a good option? compared to say a G5?

I'd be happy with up to say 32?

Have you used it with video thru DV at all?
