I'm feeling that....

Great Rhodes sound..... synth or real?

Drums have nice ambience....

Vocals nice and upfront.....

Totally speculation: For me, I'd want a slightly "warmer" or less present (5k-8k) lead vocal. Overall, good job.

I like. Good job.

I like the mellow guitar tone, and the keyboard work.
Easy on the ear and quite listenable (monkey starts playback again...).

Hi hat sounds as ambient as the ride.
I'd back off the reverb/room ambience quite a bit, and lower their level slightly.

I could be way off, as it's the G5 speaker I'm using.
I've sort of adapted to it, although bass assessment is absolutely out of the question!

Good luck, and well done, bcastagna!

Thanks for the feedback!

builder (in response to your questions) -
The rhodes comes from a Kurzweil PC2X.
My rig consists of the MOTU 828MkII with a Behringer Ultragain PRO-8 Digital connected via ADAT. I recorded on a Powermac G5 (2x1.8) and used it and my powerbook for mixing/mastering all with DP-4.61.

I'd like to comment on the music: I like Full Circle and Big Wheel. Your friends can play.
