Question regarding audio ins & outs

I recently had a problem with my mac that resaulted in me having to reinstal DP5, my MIDI interface, audio interface and pretty much everything else. The problem im having is with my audio interface, an M-audio Audiophile 2496 (crap I know). The problem is that in DP I can only select mono inputs, it lets me select stereo outputs. Also, im not getting any sound coming out of the soundcard even though DP seems to think I am. If anybody can help me I would really appriciate it, Im having a rough week

There was a time not long ago (back in March/April) when I'd sent my 2408 in for repair and bought a 2496 for temporary use. It didn't work for me at all. M-Audio support confirmed, contrary to the info on their download page, that drivers for the 2496 in Tiger were not up to speed.

I would double check with M-Audio to make sure what version of OSX their 2496 drivers are indeed compatible with.

I would also try making a new audio-MIDI set that includes the 2496.

Then I would rebuild my audio bundles-- deleting all the old ones and recreating new ones to reflect the desired stereo, mono, and surround routing.

There is little else that can be done until M-Audio releases updated and functional drivers.

Thanks for the advice. I have done what you advised but no luck. I guess I have to deal with customer support

what verion of OSX are you using?

I also noticed that the same thing is happening in Peak. Audio comes in fine and acording to the Delta control pannel the audio should be going out fine too, but its not.
