300$ good price for Motu 24i???

I saw an add for a used Motu 24i (NOT THE I/O) for 300 bucks.

Is this a good price?? I looked on line... but could only find quotes for the 24 I/O.

Also....I have a 2408 MkII.....can't I just route what ever tracks I want to its outputs if I needed??

Why would you need 24 outputs anyway....what are people usually using them for? All my EQ and FX are done within DP so maybe their not important to me.
