effect card DP5 OSX

...I have dp5, osx 10.4, g4 800 mhz 1.5 ram...what effect card can use...?

You might want to help us out with more information. Do you mean something with built-in DSP like UAD-1 or TC Powercore?

Looking at your info and that you have a G4 800, I know it might be more expensive but I mgiht strongly suggest if you can afford it at all, to get a newer Macintosh. Even if you can't go Intel... you could probably get a really good deal on a refub dual G5 or even a used one for less and find you'll get a lot of instances of native plugs. This might be a better way to go.

Right on James. Maybe we should hang our old computers on the wall with the guitars...

If a new/used Intel or G5 is too much, consider a processor upgrade for your old Mac, Gonzo.
