Hearing the sequences in song mode and seeing the film

I am working on a soundtrack and am still trying to figure out how to get my QT film to show up while in the song mode. All the sequences are in synced correctly --- but when I hit the play button in the song and can't get the movie to appear in a window. (even after hitting shift V etc....)
I'm running DP5.1

Open the movie window first.

have u checked/ticked "use same movie for all sequences" ?

I'm having this same problem - is it possible to see the movie window in song mode? I have "Use same movie for all sequences" checked and this works fine, but when I try to play all of the sequences back as a song the movie window will not show up. Thanks a bunch!

Long time Studio Vision user, now using Logic. I have a buddy at school that uses DP. I've been doing more video cue music. I really like DP's sequences concept, very close to Studio Vision. So having a sequence/Cue is appealing. We too can't figure out how to have a Movie open when the song is up..
